Welcome to the home of CRESCENDO, a rolling programme of quality music and arts events in Pakefield and Lowestoft, Suffolk – organised by and for local people.

Our aim is to present top professional musicians alongside voluntary and young music-makers, and our events inhabit indoor and outdoor spaces in the village and beyond. We want there to be something from everyone, from memorable international artists in the clifftop church, to lively family events and inclusive participatory workshops.

COME AND SING WITH JOHN RUTTER!

Join us on SATURDAY 3 SEPTEMBER 2022 for this long awaited event at Pakefield High School.

After two failed attempts, foiled by lockdown, we are delighted to announce that the Come & Sing event with John Rutter will finally be going ahead. John is thrilled to be taking part, saying, “People coming together to make music, or just to listen to it, is one of the most joyous and rewarding things on this earth.”

We’ll be distributing music to all participants beforehand starting from 9am so please leave plenty of time to allow for you to be in your seat, ready to start, by 10:45. With 250 singers taking part, there’s a lot of music to hand out!
