The Promoting Pakefield Group was formed in 2004 by County Councillor for Pakefield Roger Belham
Promoting Pakefield achieved a number of objectivies;
- an
annual Christmas tree, a booklet about Pakefield by John Holmes
- annual
hanging baskets on the main A12 and Pakefield Street,
- "Welcome
to Pakefield" sign, tourist brown sign
- improvements to the war memorial
- Fete
- Pakefield notice board for information and events outside Knight Vision.
For 2009 the following projects are planned;
- Hanging baskets
on the main A12 and Pakefield Street.
- A Summer fete on the green
between the Jolly Sailors and the Trowel & Hammer on Sunday June 21st.
